2021 Indian Challenger

Available in Thunder Black, Titanium Metallic Smoke
Author: iMotorsports / Route 66 Indian Motorcycle of Illinois

When the first Indian Challenger arrived at iMotorsports we were extremely excited to see the traditional American bagger motorcycle redesigned with fresh ideas and modern engineering. We had been promised performance in a reliable motorcycle platform and the Indian Challenger delivered that and more. There were several key features that we will go over later, but certainly one of the most important was the new motor design. The entire handling package including the amazing brakes was top shelf. Combine that with great comfort and one of the most comprehensive cockpit displays to be put inside a motorcycle fairing – ever. So here we are, excited and ready to go over the features of this great bike, as well as price, incentives and any special deals that are available for this great unit.

2021 Indian Challenger

Indian Challenger Motor

The most powerful, commercially available engine ever produced by Indian, it is the PowerPlus. The all-new 108 cu in, liquid-cooled V-twin engine delivers a class leading 122 hp and 128 ft-lbs of torque, establishing a new standard for V-twin performance. This motorcycle absolutely rips when you want to go fast, but is silky smooth and reliable for those long haul trips.

The PowerPlus motor's overhead camshafts and four valves per cylinder deliver incredible V-twin power. Hydraulic valve lash adjusters and hydraulic camshaft chain tensioners make it easy to maintain and reliable. Then there is the six-speed transmission with true overdrive, assist clutch to reduce effort and three ride modes - Rain, Standard and Sport. Now riders can customize throttle mappings and traction control settings depending on the conditions and preference.

Indian Challenger Models and Colors

Production of the Indian Challenger began with the release of the 2020 models and some very nice color and trim options. This continued into 2021 and we currently stock every model and color, but as with all motorcycles this year, you need to buy when you get the chance because supply is limited. Indian really stepped it up with some nice choices for buyers.

Below is the basic warranty that comes with Indian motorcycles as posted by Polaris on March 8th, 2021.

Indian Motorcycle Warranty Basics

Your Indian Motorcycle comes with a two-year factory warranty with unlimited miles.

This warranty covers components of your vehicle against defects in material or workmanship. It covers parts and labor charges for repair or replacement of defective parts and begins on the date of purchase by the original retail purchaser. The warranty is transferable to another owner during the warranty period through an Indian Motorcycle Dealer, but any transfer will not extend the original length of the warranty. To find the end date of your factory warranty, use the VIN Search Tool.

Your vehicle may have come with a Promotional Limited Warranty. The Promotional Limited Warranty consists of the standard factory warranty plus an additional time period of promotional limited warranty coverage. Any additional warranty coverage after the initial factory warranty is subject to a $50 deductible per visit. See your dealer for details.

For the full terms and conditions of your factory warranty, see your Owner's Manual.

To extend your coverage beyond the factory warranty, you may add an extended service contract (ESC) to your motorcycle by purchasing an Indian Motorcycle Protection Plan. This only can be done while a factory warranty or promotional limited warranty is still in place. To learn more or to purchase an Indian Motorcycle Protection Plan, consult your dealer.
